To execute the Nation Trade Promotion program in 2014, Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VTPA) presided at this program with combination of Europe Market Department (Ministry of Industry & Trade of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam); The Vietnamese Embassy in the Czech Republic; The Russian Federation and the concerned organizations to hold a trade delegation of the trade promotion and investment in the Czech Republic and Russian Federation from 10th to 18th September, 2014. Deputy Minister of Ministry of Industry and Trade, Mr. Do Thang Hai – Head of Delegation – with the participation of representatives of units from Ministry of Industry and Trade: – Mr. Duong Hoang Minh, Deputy Director of the Europe Market Department. – Mr. Do Kim Lang, Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Agency. – Mrs. Tran Kim Oanh, Director of Promotion Investment Improvement of Industry & Trade Center- The Trade Promotion Agency. – Mrs. Dang Minh Hang, Manager of Promotion Investment Improvement of Industry & Trade Center- The Trade Along with Delegation, there are enterprises having capacity of production & business with the desire to find out about new markets and look for new partners to export and invest in the Czech Republic and Russian Federation. And Mr. Huynh Ngoc Oanh – Deputy General Director of Company – is one of the delegation’s members in this occasion. In the Czech Republic: The trading program between Vietnam & the Czech Republic Enterprises at Praha capital on September 12th , 2014, was co-presided by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Mr. Do Thang Hai and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, Mr. Pavel Solc; with the participation of Mr. Truong Manh Son, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Czech Republic and representative leaders of the industry league of the Czech Republic. At the forum, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Mr. Do Thang Hai made a speech on the status of economic, trade and investment relations between Vietnam and the Czech Republic. Besides, he stressed that the two parties should further promote approaching actives and expanding markets each other in order to grow two-way trade and toward trade balance, that is better to penetrate into EU market, and take advantage opportunities from Vietnam – EU Free Trade Agreement being expected to sign at the end of this year. Moreover, the speeches were given by Mr. Do Kim Lang, Deputy Director of The Trade Promotion Agency, and Mr. Duong Hoang Minh – Deputy Director of the Europe Market Department to raise the trade and investment opportunities between two countries, about business investment environment in Vietnam as well as the trend of trade and investment development each other in the coming years. They expressed want to continue to promote investment and trade activities between Vietnam and the Czech Republic. The parties learn clearly about the import demand and the criteria for exporting goods to other markets. In particular, Vietnam delegation’s enterprises now also have the opportunity to interact and exchange with many entrepreneurs that represent Vietnam business community who are living and successful business in the Czech Republic, thereby enhancing opportunities of connections, expanding business opportunities, market penetration through these businesses. In Russian Federation: On 15th September, 2014 the delegation visited and worked at the Cultural Commerce Center and Hanoi – Moscow Hotel (INCENTRA) – a project was invested more than USD 260 million by BIDV bank. Here delegation had seminar on cooperation & investment opportunities with Vietnamese businesses in Russia under the chairman of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Mr. Do Thang Hai. Enterprises from parties have exchanged ebulliently about the advantages and challenges before the American context and the countries of the European Union which are strengthening trade embargo to Russia. At the seminar, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Oanh again had an opportunity to introduce Bidiphar Company with friendly country’s businesses and proposed BIDV banks as intermediate bridge for two countries’ enterprises in the payment by currency each other; it means not through dollar as today.   Mr.Duy Nghĩa, VTV resident reporter at Russian Federation is interviewing Mr. Huynh Ngoc Oanh On 16th September, 2014 The Trade Promotion Agency of Ministry of Industry and Trade combined with the concerned agencies of the Russian to organize “ Vietnam – Russia Business Forum’’ in Moscow that chaired by Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Mr.Vu Huy Hoang. This is an occasion for the two countries’ enterprises to find opportunities promote cooperation and investment relations.  Mr. Vu Huy Hoang, Minister of Minister of Industry and Trade of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam with other representatives at the business forum  Vietnam- Russia Business Forum The forum attracted hundreds of delegates who are leaders, representatives of corporations, large business & production companies of Russian and Vietnam, in which, many companies now have had business and partner relationships each other. Expressing the opening at the forum, Mr. Nhikolaievich Kurochkin, Vice President of Russian Commerce & Industry Department and Mr. Nguyen Hung, Counselor Embassy of Vietnam in Russian Federation together look back at the important step forward in economic cooperation – trade and investment relations between two countries; and affirmed the important significance of the forum in promoting Vietnam – Russia relations, especially in the new challenging stages, but also a lot of advantage opportunities as nowadays.  Vietnam enterprises take part in the business forum  Russian enterprises take part in the business forum Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, Mr. Iuri Sliusar gave a speech on looking back at the important steps in relations between two countries in which tourism sector has strong growth. He confirmed that business forum today presents the important business of both countries, which will create additional opportunities to further develop the strategic partnership between two countries. The Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Mr. Vu Huy Hoang Vietnam made a speech on looking at the important activities of two countries to speed up bilateral relations and stressed that: When Russian businesses enter Vietnam market, they not only have investment opportunities in Vietnam but also can see here as a bridge between the Russian Federation with community of 10 ASEAN countries of over 600 million consumers. So the next time, two countries will continue to promote economic cooperation, trade and investment relations as directed by the senior leadership of both parties that is according to signed documents in the framework of Intergovernmental meetings of two countries on cooperation in economy, culture, science and technology. Then, Vietnam and Russia businesses have exchanged directly to introduce and find out the strengths, potentiality and ability to promote the direct relationships with each other.
