On 29th Jan, both officers and employees of Binh Dinh pharmaceutical &medical equipment Company (Bidiphar) held a formal ceremony to receive Independence Medal Class III awarded by the President and presented the Labor Medal Class II to pharmacist Le Minh Tan – former General Director of Bidiphar. Attending members were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tro – Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh – Vice Chairman, Tran Thi Trung Chien – former Member of Party Central – former Minister of Health, the former leader – key players in the province, representatives of unit of the Ministry of Health and the joint Venture Company in Laos.
Ceremony of Independence Medal Class III awarded by the President took place in the joyful atmosphere of beginning New Year’s Day 2010 and the entire unit is aiming to celebrate 80 years of success founded the Communist Party of Vietnam. Over the past 20 years, under the leadership of the Party Committee, People’s Committee, the collective staff of Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical – Medical Equipment Company (Bidiphar) was united as one, overcoming many challenges, constantly evolving production business, becoming one of the leading companies in the country’s pharmaceutical manufacturing major and effective cooperation with foreign countries.
Along with group company received Independence Medal Class III – honors of the State, individual pharmacists Le Minh Tan honored to receive the Labor Medal ClassII awarded by the President for his excellent contribution in Bidiphar’s outstanding development.
In fun day, everyone recites the maturation process of Bidiphar with all proud. In 1989, Company’s own funds had only 35 millions, old factories and machinery, bank loans is up to 250 millions. After 20 years, the business capital of Bidiphar has increased 123 billion; revenue gets 682 billion; Company pays for annual budget 14 billion/ year to State, ensuring regular employment for 1,500 workers with average income of 3.5 million VND/ person/ month. Nowadays, Bidiphar has 10GMP – WHO production lines, Pharmaceutical Quality Control according to GLP standard, storage systems according to GSP standard, drug distribution network with GDP standards, quality management system with international standard ISO 9001: 2008. Base on investing modern technology; today, Bidiphar has over 350 products that the Ministry of Health enables to use in the whole country; and more than 70 exported products in the main markets such as Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Italy, Canada, Mongolia, South Africa. In 7 consecutive years, Bidiphar products are voted as Vietnam high quality goods by consumers.
Along with the investment development process, in recent years, the company has always been leading in the implementation of social charitable activities for the community’s benefit to help victims in calamity, building gratitude houses, support policy – family, taking care of Vietnam Hero Mother, awarded scholarships to poor students to overcome difficulties and participate in programs to reduce poverty and many other social activities within and outside the province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Province Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh congratulated to Company and pharmacistLe Minh Tan was acknowledged his contribution to the ongoing development of the business. On behalf of the province leader, he wants Bidiphar continue to maintain and promote the achievements gained in the new development stage.
Starting of a new year with pleasures of receiving the honors awarded by the President, together with the province and the Ministry of Health’s interest of close direction, this will be a great motivation for Company constantly developing after, while improving production and business efficiency, Bidiphar contributes more to society, always to the benefit of the whole community, be worthy of standing tradition of a labor hero unit in the renew stage.
