Box of 3 blisters x 10 capsules.

– Gabapentin is used to treat epilepsy.
– Gabapentin is also used to treat peripheral neuropathic pain such as occurs in diabetes and shingles.
Not exceeding 25°C, dry place away from light.
– Patients 12 years of age and above:
+ Initial dose: 300 mg orally on day one, 300 mg orally twice a day on day two, then 30 300 mg orally 3 times a day on day three.
+ Maintenance dose: 900 to 1800 mg orally in 3 divided doses. Maximum dose is up to 2400 mg/day.
– Children 6-12 years of age:
+ First day: 10mg/kg/day, in 3 divided doses
+ Second day: 20 mg/kg/day, in 3 divided doses
+ Third day: 25-35 mg/kg/day, in 3 divided doses.
+ Maintenance dose: 900 mg/day with children weighing 26-36 kg, 1200 mg/day with children weighing 37-50 kg.
– Children 3-6 years of age:
+ First day: 10 mg/kg/day, in 3 divided doses
+ Second day: 20 g/kg/day, in 3 divided doses
+ Third day: 25-35 mg/kg/day, in 3 divided doses
In adults with postherpetic neuralgia, Bineurox therapy may be initiated on day 1 as a single 300 mg dose, on day 2 as 600 mg (300 mg two times a day), and on day 3 as 900 mg/day (300 mg three times a day). The dose can subsequently be titrated up as needed for pain relief to a dose of 1800mg/day (600 mg three times a day).
